Video Gait Analysis: An Important Service We Offer Our Customers
Why should you be professionally fit for running or walking shoes?
The advanced technology that has gone into running shoe development in the past decade has made it possible to fit nearly every foot type. Running shoes are specifically designed to address a vast variety of foot shapes, weight differences, and biomechanical anomalies. It is difficult to know which shoe will work best for you. We're here to help!
Gait analysis: how and why
The first step to being correctly fit for running/walking shoes is to have your gait analyzed. At The Running Company, our experts staff will analyze your gait and foot strike as you test different shoes on a treadmill. Video feedback will let you see what we see and show you how different shoes will work for you. You will find that we carry shoes for every type of foot - even special needs.
How to decide on a pair of shoes
This is the fun part. Once our staff has determined which type of shoe works best for you, all you have to worry about is comfort. Usually you will have a couple of good choices for your foot type, so you can let comfort be your guide.
